Specifically, a pair of squishy pink mittens for myself, because I apparently if I don’t have a cabled project on my needles at all times, I have some kind of physiological reaction.
The pattern, for those interested, is Hermione’s Cable-and-Bobble Mittens, from atypically-knit, and it’s amazing. LIke, I can’t quite explain why making bobbles is as fun as it is, but I love doing it and mittens give me an excuse, because it doesn’t matter that bobbles sort of look like nipples when they’re for a garment that goes on my hands.
