My sock love sort of waxes and wanes, but it's definitely a fun trick to learn. I find, too, that I'm actually better about finishing plain stockinette socks than patterned ones. I just pick them up and do knit stitches for an hour, and suddenly I'm almost at the heel. It's very zen.

I've always wanted to to learn that technique- I was wondering if it would make me more interested in sock knitting (since, sadly, I do not often feel the sock love).
