So, apparently sewing really is faster than knitting. Huh. After spending the weekend addicted to my little triangles, I found myself with this by the end of the weekend.

It’s all machine-stitched, aside from the diagonal seams, which helped a lot, because that’s, like. A lot of seams.

Anyway. By yesterday afternoon, I’d taken a deep breath and managed to work up the courage to sew all the blocks together, which left me with my very own pillowcase front. I am like, obscenely proud of it.

It’s a little bright? But I’m envisioning some kind of neutral, mostly-white fabric as the back of the pillowcase, which I think will help a lot. And besides, even if it ends up clashing with everything else in my apartment, it’s my awesome cowgirl pillow. You cannot really go wrong with that.
